Where Recovery Meets Restoration

Training, Exam Study, & Internship

Therapists at Restoring the Unloved are deeply committed to guiding LCDC-I candidates through the supervised internship process with both clinical excellence and spiritual care. Understanding that hands-on experience under an approved LCDC-S is essential before independent practice, they provide structured, emotionally safe environments where interns can grow in confidence and competence. Each placement is thoughtfully curated to meet Texas state requirements while reflecting the organization’s core values of dignity, multicultural representation, and restorative healing. Through mentorship, visual guides, and ethical oversight, the team ensures that every intern is equipped not only to fulfill their hours—but to embody the heart of recovery work.
