Dr. Queena Saah holds her doctorate in Psychology with Specializations in Criminology and Justice Studies. Other academic achievements include a master’s degree in psychology, a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and an associate's degree in social science. Relevant to her education, she works as a mental health professional. She has worked in various mental health settings, such as jail, the clinic, and within the church, helping others to understand mental illness and to focus on living a productive life.
Queena is an ordained pastor. She focuses on making an impact in churches nationwide by traveling, preaching, and teaching healing according to the word of God. She is the author of multiple psychological and spiritual books called “Restoring the Unloved” and “Biblical Principles of Dating. She has also created a self-care journal that she named "Esteeming Your Self-Care" to help clients focus on loving themselves and engaging in tasks to prove their love for themselves. Queena enjoys researching matters related to spirituality and growth and development. Her newest project, "Rhythmic Recovery," is a therapy approach that combines music, crisis intervention strategies, and other evidence-based approaches to advance treatment in clients suffering from substance abuse.
Christian counseling has been a therapeutic approach for Queena in ministry for more than 10 years. In relation to substance abuse therapy and group counseling, Queena believes that Christianity plays a major role in recovery and is usually centered around family therapy and principles related to religion.
She promotes self-love and care, as it enhances our value and ability to help others when we are operating at our best.
Dr. Queena is the founder of other Christian organizations. Some of which extend internationally. She often engages in public speaking, where she is able to explain to communities the importance of therapy, aimed at addressing social needs that affect the human psyche and those that create barriers to individuals who are seeking recovery.
